GULFSTREAM’S NEW GENERATION OF LARGE-CABIN BUSINESS JETS TOP 100,000 FLIGHT HOURS
G550, G500, G450 and G350 Also Surpass 50,000 Take-offs and Landings

SAVANNAH, Ga., Oct. 16, 2006 – The 141 aircraft that currently comprise the in-service fleet of Gulfstream’s new generation of large-cabin business jets have exceeded 100,000 flight hours and completed more than 50,000 take-offs and landings in the three years since the first G550 entered service.

Between September 2003 and June 2005, four new large-cabin Gulfstream aircraft models – the G550, G500, G450 and G350 – entered service.  While each was differentiated by range, performance and price, all four feature the PlaneView® flight deck with Honeywell’s Primus Epic® avionics. Each model also shares the same pilot type rating, which translates to cost-savings in terms of crew and maintenance training time and cost for customers who operate multiple-aircraft fleets.

“While the design, build and technological advancements of these aircraft have won over many new customers, our steadfast commitment to these planes after they’ve entered service keeps our long-time customers coming back,” said Pres Henne, senior vice president, programs, engineering and test, Gulfstream.
