GULFSTREAM’S LONG BEACH SERVICE CENTER RECEIVES MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION APPROVAL FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL AVIATION OF BERMUDA
Maintenance Can Now Be Performed on Bermuda-Registered Gulfstream Fleet of Business Jets at the Company’s West Coast Facility
SAVANNAH , Ga. , March 20, 2006 – The Bermuda Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) has approved Gulfstream’s Long Beach , Calif. , service center to provide maintenance support for Bermuda-registered Gulfstream business-jet aircraft.
On Feb. 10, the Gulfstream Long Beach facility was designated an approved maintenance organization (AMO) by the DCA for all Gulfstream aircraft models, including out-of-production models -- the GI, GII, GIII, GIV, GV and G100. Gulfstream aircraft currently in production comprise the G150, G200, G350, G450, G500 and the G550. In addition to providing maintenance for Bermuda-registered aircraft, the facility has been granted authority to make recommendations to the DCA regarding the issuance of Certificates of Airworthiness, Certificates of Airworthiness for Export and Permits to Fly.

Gulfstream’s Long Beach Service Center joins the company’s Dallas ; Appleton , Wis. ; Savannah , Ga. ; Brunswick , Ga. and Luton , England , service centers as an approved repair station for Bermuda-registered aircraft. General Dynamics Aviation Services facilities in West Palm Beach , Fla. , and Westfield , Mass. , also are approved for Bermuda-registered aircraft.
Located adjacent to the Long Beach Airport in Southern California , Gulfstream’s Long Beach facility has been in operation since 1986. The center provides complete airframe maintenance, routine maintenance, refurbishment, major repairs and modifications. The site also hosts a Final Phase Manufacturing facility where Gulfstream’s large-cabin, ultra-long range aircraft – the G500 and G550 – are outfitted with furniture, carpeting, cabin liners, flooring, lighting and exterior paint.
In addition to the six Gulfstream service centers, Gulfstream also operates six service centers under the General Dynamics Aviation Services name. They are located in Las Vegas ; Dallas ; Minneapolis ; Appleton ; Westfiield , Mass. ; and West Palm Beach , Fla. These service centers perform maintenance work on Gulfstream aircraft as well as other business-jet manufacturers’ aircraft, including Challengers, Cessnas, Citations, Hawkers and Falcons.
