GULFSTREAM EXPANDS ‘MEET THE QUOTE’ PARTS PRICE-MATCHING PROGRAM, ADDING G100 AND G200 PARTS
Gulfstream Extends Competitive Price-Matching Quotes on Most Popular Exchange Parts until the End of July
SAVANNAH, Ga., May 7, 2004 – Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, (NYSE: GD), has both expanded and extended its 60-day "Meet the Quote" spare parts price-matching program, which was launched in March.
Initially offered to operators of GII, GIII, GIV/GIV-SP, GV, G300, G400, G500 and G550 aircraft, Meet the Quote now includes price-matching on the most popular exchange parts - including valves, alternators, regulator and brake assemblies, actuators, and display units - for G100, Astra and G200 aircraft. Gulfstream extended the duration of Meet the Quote, which now terminates at midnight on July 31 to ensure that G100 and G200 operators have sufficient time to participate in the program.
To participate in the Meet the Quote program, a customer submits to Gulfstream a current competitive quote on a specific exchange part. If that part is priced lower than Gulfstream’s price for the same part, comparable in condition, age and warranty terms, Gulfstream will match the price of the part for over-the-counter transactions. Meet the Quote is offered to both current customers as well as to those individuals who own, operate or manage Gulfstream or Astra aircraft, but purchase their exchange parts from other sources.
"In addition to offering the most popular exchange parts at the most competitive prices, we include a one-year or 1,000-hour warranty, whichever comes first, on every part we sell," said Larry Flynn, president, product support, Gulfstream.
Meet the Quote is part of Gulfstream’s long-term commitment to readjust spares pricing to remain competitive with non-Gulfstream parts suppliers. In the past few years, Gulfstream has significantly reduced the prices on more than 1,500 spare parts.

International G100, G200 and Astra operators can call +1 912-965-4178. Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Gulfstream’s experienced spare-parts sales representatives ensure parts are shipped in the most expeditious manner, usually from a company-operated inventory location nearest the customer. Certain restrictions may apply.
