GULFSTREAM AWARDED $14 MILLION CONTRACT TO PROVIDE U.S. AIR FORCE FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE SUPPORT FOR EGYPTIAN PRESIDENTIAL FLEET
Gulfstream To Service and Support Egyptian Government's Eight Gulfstream Business Jet Aircraft Used for VIP Transport

SAVANNAH, Ga., Dec. 8, 2003 -- Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has been awarded a $14,182,226 firm-fixed price contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide scheduled inspections and maintenance for the Egyptian government's presidential fleet of Gulfstream aircraft.

Previously announced by the U.S. Department of Defense, the contract commenced Oct. 31, 2003 and will end Nov. 1, 2005. It will provide depot maintenance support, parts and material repair and technical personnel for Aircraft on Ground or urgent situation support.

The Egyptian government currently operates two Gulfstream IIIs, one Gulfstream IV, four Gulfstream IV-SPs and a Gulfstream G400, which was delivered on November 14. Gulfstream will deliver a second G400 to the Egyptian government in the third quarter next year. The Egyptian government acquires U.S. aircraft and contracts for service and maintenance through the Air Force's Foreign Military Sales Program.
