GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE APPOINTS DAN O'MALLEY AS GENERAL MANAGER OF MEXICALI FACILITY
SAVANNAH, GEORGIA July 6, 2001 - Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has appointed Dan O'Malley General Manager of its Mexicali, Mexico, site. The site provides fabrication and electrical sheetmetal sub-assembly support to both the manufacturing and outfitting of Gulfstream IV-SP and Gulfstream V aircraft. "Dan has demonstrated leadership skills that are in line with our corporate direction and has been a solid contributor in the production organization," said James McQueeney, vice president/general manager for Oklahoma City and Mexicali. A two-year Gulfstream employee, O'Malley previously served as Senior Manager of the company's composite manufacturing business unit in Savannah. Prior to joining Gulfstream, he worked for Lucas Aerospace in Macon, Ga., and at Hughes Electronics in El Segundo, Calif., and LaGrange, Ga. O'Malley earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Loyola Marymount University and a master's degree in systems management from the University of Southern California.
