GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE APPOINTS JIM MCQUEENEY AS VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER OF OKLAHOMA CITY AND MEXICALI SITES

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - July 6, 2001 - James McQueeney has been appointed Vice President and General Manager of Gulfstream's Aerospace Corporation's Oklahoma City and Mexicali, Mexico, facilities. In his new role, McQueeney will be responsible for the operation of both sites, which provide fabrication and electrical sub-assembly support to both the manufacturing and outfitting of Gulfstream IV-SP and Gulfstream V aircraft. "With a total employment of more than 1,300 people, these facilities are an integral part of our company's operating priorities," said Joe Lombardo, senior vice president of operations. "Jim has been in a number of key leadership positions since coming to Gulfstream His experience in manufacturing and material control, plus his commitment to our values, makes him an ideal choice for this position." McQueeney, who has been with Gulfstream for nine years, was most recently Director of Production at the company's aircraft manufacturing facility in Savannah. He also served as the Manufacturing Manager during the development of the Gulfstream V aircraft and worked at the company's Oklahoma City site for three years as the Manager of Business Development. Before joining Gulfstream, McQueeney was Director of Operations for Textron, a multi-product line company that produces Cessna Aircraft and Bell Helicopters.
