GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE NAMES KELVIN MASON CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
Mason to Lead Internet Communications with Customers
Savannah, Ga., March 16, 2001 -- Kelvin Mason has been selected as Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation's Chief Information Officer (CIO). He will be responsible for the company's Information Services activities at all sites, including the development and implementation of Internet-based capabilities to communicate with customers in real-time during all phases of the customer relationship.
In his new role, Mason becomes a member of Gulfstream's top leadership team and reports directly to Bill Boisture, Gulfstream President and Chief Operating Officer.
Mason has been serving as the Lead Information Services Director since September 2000. He was hired by Gulfstream in June 2000 as Director of the Personal Computing Group, responsible for the acquisition, configuration and deployment of personal computing devices throughout the company and for the management of all desktop projects.
From 1992 to 2000, Mason was the President and Owner of Mason Business Associates in Savannah. His company performed consulting and contracting work that provided computer systems solutions and project management support for many diverse businesses.
He also worked for Gulfstream from 1983 to 1992 in Aircraft Services Application Development as a Senior Programmer, Senior Systems Analyst and Section Head.

Mason holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia.
