GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE APPOINTS TONY SINGLETON GENERAL MANAGER AT BRUNSWICK
Savannah, GA, Oct. 26, 2000 -- Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation announced today that Tony Singleton was appointed general manager of Gulfstream’s Brunswick site. Singleton, who is responsible for more than 200 employees, will direct the operation of the site’s aircraft completions and aircraft services businesses. He has been serving as interim general manager for a year. "Tony has earned this opportunity based on his overall performance at Brunswick and especially because of his performance over the past 12 months," said Larry Flynn, senior vice president, aircraft services. A 16-year Gulfstream employee, Singleton has spent the most recent six years serving as service center manager and business office manager at the Brunswick facility. Earlier in his career, he worked as a manufacturing engineer and purchasing agent. A graduate of Georgia Southern University, he earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial management in 1985. Singleton and his wife, Nancy, reside in Richmond Hill, Ga. They have two children Christopher and Katie. His parents, Billy and Yvonne, also reside in Richmond Hill. Gulfstream's Brunswick Completion and Service facility has been in operation since 1992. In addition to outfitting and servicing Gulfstream aircraft for the Gulfstream Shares fractional ownership program, the facility supports the servicing of Gulfstream aircraft for other customers.
