Gulfstream Aerospace Names Greg Byrnes Vice President, Sales and New Business Development
Savannah, GA, June 30, 2000 -- Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation announced today that Greg Byrnes has been named vice president, sales and new business development.
"During the five years Greg has been with Gulfstream, he has contributed significantly to the rapid growth of our service business," said Larry Flynn, senior vice president, aircraft services said. "Under his leadership, we've increased our market share for service of Gulfstream aircraft from 40 percent in 1995 to 70 percent today."
Byrnes has 33 years experience in corporate aviation sales. Prior to joining Gulfstream, he was vice president, sales for Garrett Aviation in Phoenix. Previously, he worked for Airwork Corporation as regional sales manager.
Byrnes, who holds an A&P (airframe and powerplant) license, earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1975. He resides in Hilton Head Island, S.C., with his wife, Susie.
