The Gulfstream Outstanding Flight Award Program

The Gulfstream Outstanding Flight Award Program is designed specifically to reward Gulfstream operators, both commercial and governmental, who use their aircraft in the most outstanding and noteworthy manner each year.

Program Rules

• Awards are for the year in which the flight occurs only (no carry over)
• Nominations for the 2009 Alber-Rowley Award will be accepted by Gulfstream through midnight, March 31, 2010
• Nominations for flights that occurred between January 1 and December 31, 2009, will be accepted

Submission Requirements

• Nominated flights must be submitted to Gulfstream only via the Gulfstream designated form supplemented as appropriate by documentary materials
• Nominated flights must have been completed within the year in which nominated
• Nominated flights must have been completed in accordance with all appropriate FAA/International regulations; any flight considered reckless or irresponsible in any manner will automatically be eliminated from consideration
• All nominated flights must have been completed with NBAA or in the case of military flights, service-specific required fuel reserves remaining
• Nominated aircraft must have been fully airworthy at the timeof takeoff; all aircrew must have been fully certified and medically fit for the flight planned
• Each aircraft must have been properly fueled and provisioned for the flight planned
• Nominated flights must have been planned with due regard to all ATC, weather, route, support, communications, and other pertinent considerations in mind
• Nominated flights must have been initiated in accordance with the normal activities of the operator; flights conducted for the sole purpose of winning this award will not be considered
• Flights conducted by Gulfstream or by employees of Gulfstream are not eligible for this program
• Gulfstream reserves the right to request additional amplifying or other documentary evidence in order to confirm particular aspects of any submitted flight. Requested details on any nominated flight must be made available to Gulfstream for the nomination to proceed to award.
• Gulfstream reserves the right to amplify and extend these rules and requirements at any time, solely at its discretion
